Why is this so slow?

Yes, I know exactly why it takes 15-20 minutes for postings to be echoed to
the list.

How is this a problem? There's several reasons why it is set this way, but
if it's a problem for folks that classiccmp reflections take 30 mins to go
out, just let me know.
