A quick look at
http://oss.software.ibm.com/developer/opensource/linux/projects/ppc/models.php
indicates that the 530 may not be supported. I'm not really surprised as
the 530 uses the multi-chip implementation of the Power architecture which
is significantly different to the PowerPC single chip. I also seem to
recall that the 530 was MCA rather than PCI but I could well be wrong (it's
been a while since I played with one).
