        It's been a long time since I played any of them but most of
the Sierra games of the period used passages in the manuals and such
as copy protection. They'd let you get somewhat into the game and
then spring something on you that required you to look it up in the
manual or some other item that was included with the game. I still
have a great many original Sierra games but few of the docs to run
them. One cool thing though is that Sierra's 10th anniversary catalog
from 1989, which I got with 'Leisure Suit Larry III', has a smallish
picture of the Apple I with thier 'Mystery House' game on the cover.
