Try to get a keyboard and a mouse. They are special, not PS/2 like on
the Indigo^2. The /35 is nice. It is the fastest model and comes with 16
bit stereo audio. Have a look at:

Install IRIX 4.x. If the machines have enough RAM you will get a very
nice workstation with (for that time) surprising "multi media" features.
