SUN SCSI vs non-SUN?

If they're "running out," suggesting the spindle bearing is worn out, you
should let the supplier replace them for you. I can't imagine what a drive
maker could do to the firmware to make a drive that works in a system, wobble
or "buzz" in a different manufacturer's application.
