HP 9000 battery identified!

I just checked mine...the battery is labeled as follows:

Panasonic Rechargable Battery
LCR6V4PL

6V 4ah/20hr

constant voltage chargew
cycle usage: 7.3~7.5V
stdby 6.8~6.9V
initial current < 1.6A

Good luck with your g40...btw, the g40 runs hpux 10.20 just fine
(ours initially ran hpux 9.0)...it will also run the latest and
greatest from hp (hpux 11i...though only in 32bit mode...not the full
64bit mode).
