HP 9000 battery identified!

Make sure you specify LCR6V4[PL] when you order these. Panasonic makes
another battery of the same specifications (LCR6V4BP), but the BP has
0.187 (3/16") quick connect tabs instead of the wire leads that the PL
has.

According to the cross reference data in front of me, a Yuasa NP4-6W would
also work. It has wire leads as well.

Either of these batteries should cost no more than $12-15ea. I'd expect
the cost be be closer to $8-10ea wholesale.

My favorite wholesale company for sealed lead acid batteries is Carlton
Bates http://www.carlton-bates.com/ You might want to give them a call and
find the closest distributor.
