    Is this a trick question???? How about ANY two 3-volt lithium
batteries connected in series? OR how about four 1.5-volt batteries in
series? OR five 1.2-vlot NiCads in series (I'll bet that four batteries
would work too) OR even three 2-volt lead acid cells if you're desperate
and don't care what the fumes will eventually do to the insides of the
computer.
