Vette? Huh??? Corvettes weren't plastic - they were fiberglass. The first
"plastic" (or more politically correct: composite material) mass-production
car for the U.S. AFAIK is the Pontiac Fiero -- I just happen to have an
'84. Great little car, but kinda wiggy to drive in the wintertime...
