What's the age of this machine? Most rechargeable battery technologies are
only good for 5-10 years, and after that they start to leak and damage
surrounding metals. If this system uses NiCads or Sealed Lead Acid
batteries, they should be replaced right away. If it uses Cyclon Sealed
Lead Acid batteries, those are usually good for about 15 years, but after
about 10, they really should be replaced anyway.
