I once had to call the cops on an idiot in my apartment building
who, after I mentioned that I was donating a pile of stuff,
thought that he could have whatever he wanted from it, and
proceeded to steal a number of my soon-to-be donations.

Why steal from the drop-off container? My conscience is
clear and my results are satisfactory from raiding the
 *garbage* dumpsters at these places. Many have policies
against selling computers, so they just dump them when
they get them. They'll also dump anything that seems
technological but too old - like an old calculator.
