Among the things I like about it:

        - many program installs/de-installs are simply dragging and
dropping of a single folder/directory, even when it comes to MS
Office. Other than the occasional system extension or control panel,
most files stay in the program's folder. Compare this to the horrid
uninstall function of WIndows and having to often times manually edit
the registry in order to fully rid the system of programs.

        - as stated in the above, program parts and pieces aren't
scattered to all parts of the hard disk in a good many different
directories. The biggest offenders for this on the Mac are the same
ones that encourage it in WIndows...MS applications.

        - startup and shutdown are much faster, even at 1/2 the clockspeed.

        - systen extensions are control panels are easily toggled off
and on without making any permenant changes to the system setup.

All of the above make it far easier to troubleshoot
software/driver related problems than the same type of problems in
Windows. Plus all the major buisiness applications are available on
the Mac that are currently used in Windows.
