If that machine is running Solaris, booting single won't get you there.
You'll still need the root pw to get a prompt. I have a way though.
Email me and I'll give you the skinny on how to break this machine.

Isn't the model that has 4 50Mhz CPU's? If so that *IS* a *VERY COOL*
You can probably boot it in single user mode and clear the password.
