Given the right backplane (with MUD slots -- the normal DD11-D (I think)
9 slot backplane is fine) and power supply, it should do. My 11/45 has a
pair of 64kW 3rd-party boards in it. One is a Plessey, and is
half-populated (in other words it could be a 124kW board if all the chips
were there), the other I can't rememebr. Works fine. I remember modifying
a 4 slot backplane (all I had at the time) to have MUD slots in the
middle, and making my own power harness (my 11/45 is an early one with
the 8 pin mate-n-lock connectors for power distribution, not the 15 and 6
pin connectors used on later machines) but those were the only problems.
