I remember several products of that era (can't remember the names!) that
were designed to add functions to telephones that we take for granted
these days: call waiting, call forwarding (both required two phone
lines) and speed dialing. One device would redial a busy number
continuously until it got through. (Demon dialer?) I sold them to
businesses and car phone users.
