Ok, did a little web search on this, and found...

Don't know how authoritative this is, but it sounds
like they did a bit of research...

It would be interesting to see how a cat would
respond to a green laser pointer... apparently green
is one of the colors they seem to be sensitive to.

BTW, this is getting off topic... perhaps it should
end soon.
