As I understand it, date codes are year and week numbers, so 6915 would
mean a lot manufacturered during the 15th week of 1969. (Exactly how
weeks are numbered I don't know and may even vary from manufacturer to
manufacturer, but for most purposes a week one way or the other makes
little difference.)
