ISTR that there was once an aftermarket disk controller for the ][ that
did Apple GCR using "industry standard" drives! THAT, if any could be
found, should work with a 720K 3.5" PC type drive.
The last time that I saw one was 20 years ago, and the guy who had it is
now dead.

Finding the Apple drive would be a LOT easier.
