I'vr never had a Torx screw that I can't undo with the right tool, but
I've had far too many Phillips/Pozidriv that I can't shift other than
drilling them out (the most recent one held the Logic 1 PCB in an HP87,
and I didn't want to damage either the case or the PCB...).

Therefroe I fail to see how replacing Torx with Phillips could ever be an
upgrade...
