Cleaning up yellowed/grubby plastic?

It also works fantastically on squeeky Sidi Vertebrae motorcycle boots.

I'd just like to point out that I don't oil my motorbike chain with it ;)

Maybe someone could point out the disadvantages of using it as a cleaner,
because I clean/protect everything with it, however I don't *lubricate*
anything with it (except said motorcycle boots ;)
