Forced eBay ID Change?

I think there are other reasons. eBay has already (successfully so far)
argued its immunity from being held as liable, claiming they are only a
marketplace (which I wholly agree with, though they should be held liable
on account of their policies).

I'm sure the real reason is because they actually do sell this data.
