This sounds like the sort of thing that I might be able to do (heck, it
can't be worse to reverse-engineer than an HP9100...), and I know the
6809 and CoCo (which is similar to the Dragon) pretty well even if I say
so myself.

The problem is that it would not be a quick or simple job, and if it
ended up on my bench for repair, I think I would be justified in charging
(in some way) for doing it.
