Now easier for people to get HP2000/Access up (was: MoreHPmicrocode & loader rom detective work)
Well,
It could very well be that '2000G' was just an HP internal project designation
for the next version, before someone decided to change the name (marketing ?)
and release it as 'Access'. I remember calling HP in Montreal and trying to get
the next version of the documentation (after F) and kept asking for 'G', and
being told that it was 'Access' now...
Pure speculation on my part, but it wouldn't be the first time a project designation
changed partway through...

Nope. "2000 System" was. At least by HP.

I'd love to know. I am not aware of any surviving OS distributions for it,
nor any operator/user manuals. Some general manuals do mention it however.

There are several manuals and such on the web, and several manuals in my
posession... that mention it's existence, as well as giving the HP product
number for the OS distribution, which is different from 2000/Access product
number.
In addition, (now I'm delving into totally unsubstantiated rumor)...I had
heard from a source that when HP discontinued TSB, it was taken over by a
third party that enhanced it and called it "2000G". I'm starting to discount
that though as I've never found ANY corroboration for his story. But, with
regard to 2000/Access & 2000 System.... the manual is pretty corroborative
:)
