There are "print servers". Litle boxes with a Centronics parallel port
on one side and Ethernet on the other side. Much like a terminal server.
Most of them talk TCP/IP and the BSD LPR/LPD network protocol, so it is
trivial to interface them to a VAX running BSD UNIX.
