Are you sure you're not subscribed to cctalk and cctech? Moderation
happens, on average, three times a day, and that produces a burst of
messages.
And a general plea to all: if the thread changes direction, please
change the frigging Subject! Moderation takes a lot more time when
threads shift from on to off-topic. The moderation load is 5500 posts
per month, and you benefit from it, even when you subscribe to the
"nominally unmoderated" cctalk.
