Some kind of vi, e.g. http://www.vim.org/ Back in my WinDOS days I used
a vi clone called elVIs. But vim is, IMHO, better.

VI is no easy to use point and drool editor. It is a powerfull tool for
users (contrary to "l-users" ;-) ). It takes some time to get used to it
but then you don't want to miss it again. Especially when editing
programm code.
