  I don't know why you say that. HP has a huge following of people on this
list (and many of us are very serious HP fans) and something like this
that has a major impact on them is bound to generate a lot of discussion.

people have spoken out and tried to blame the reaction on things like
"people don't like woment CEOs" and other vague notions but NO ONE has
actually spoken out in her favor. I think it's quite clear that she was not
liked by the HP employees, investors, the customers, the fans, the Hewlett
and/or Packard families, the HP board of directors or anyone else that I
can tell.
