Not *just* hams. As I sit here typing I can see on the screen an incoming
NAVTEX broadcast aimed at shipping. These broadcasts are in mode B SITOR,
a 100 baud system, and are transmiited on 518KHz. Just to get a bit nearer
on topic, I'm watching it using a 1960 receiver and a terminal unit that
dates back over 10 years connected to the 386 I use as a print server, to
which I telnet and run minicom on the server...
