Weird RX02 problem

Heh... I'm sure it's not the cause of this problem, but I had a Supra
14.4K modem on my Amiga for UUCP (kumiss.cmhnet.org / kumiss.uucp)
that used to lock up some afternoons after about 15:00... it was the
sunlight shining in the window, heating up the modem enclosure,
aggravated by the modem design - the 7805 regulator was pressing
against the aluminum of the case by the spring tension of its own
leads - not effective when it has been slammed in shipping, and isn't
making good contact in the first place.

So, yes... check time dependent effects against sunlight coming in the
window. It can cause problems.
