Even some of the more unique stuff is not that special, or at least not
worth tens of thousands of dollars.

I just got back from the preview. They only had a couple dozen pieces out
for display. I wasn't impressed. If they drop a zero or two off the
estimated values of this stuff then I think they have a chance of actually
selling it. As it is, it seems more like an ego display.

Norman will be speaking tonight at Stanford but I won't be attending.
Instead, I'll be hanging out with the PDP-1 Restoration Team at the
Computer History Museum where real history is being explored: I think
tonight may be the night where they get Spacewar! running ;)
