I don't have a PDP11 but I have a VAX3900 which is QBUS based. From my
knowledge the power supply should supply a bunch of signals. For
example, DCOK, POK and INIT among others. There are +12v and -12v too.
Yours might be a UNIBUS machine. But you can not just get a +5V and
GND and expect it to work.
