Good luck. This can be very challenging due to the inevitable distortion
that prevents the two halves from lining up properly. It can be done but
it takes a lot of work.

Too bad you aren't local...I have a bunch of scanners that can accomodate
8.5x17, and I don't want to scrap them if I can avoid it.
