I do not own a mainframe, but if I did, the only thing I would
personally find to do with it is to set it up with a 37x5
communications controller as an SNA host, and to probably fire up some
HASP and/or 3780 lines at the same time. There are plenty of options
for bisync hosts (most packages can be configured for Remote or
Central operation, including COMBOARDs), but central SNA stuff tended
to be big blue boxes.

There was SNA peer-to-peer networking (PU Type 2.1), but the products
I personally worked on never implemented that part of SNA protocol.
