Calculator/abacus

I'm sure there are a couple of calculator freaks on this list. I saw an
oddball Sharp Elsimate (forgot to note the model number) with built-in
abacus tonight. I'm pretty sure it was a novelty calc, but it's not like
Sharp to have a sense of humor. Perhaps this was intended as an Asian
cultural bridge?
