[IBM S/36]
Runs for years - but mine takes in the area of 20 minutes to ask me for an IPL
password! It's a 5363, a nice, PC-sized S/36, but it's NOT that PC-36 thing...
I've seen manuals, and it looks fairly ugly. (It's a PC/AT size case,
with a strange bus extender thingie (I think) that plugs into a PC/AT for
console/print/disk/whatever services).
Mine also doesn't stretch the power limit any...
You need 240VAC for a Sys/34? Mine wants 208V/1PH, and it indicates that
it can be rewired for other voltages... Maybe if you have manuals or something
you can tell me how? I have a pin converter dongle for the power cord so I
don't have to mutilate the existing one, so I could try things here...
Besides, if I got it wrong, it'd powercheck before damaging things, right?
