Good idea in a way but my days back as a SysOp on my own private Fidonet BBS
shows these closed areas/news servers to be VERY boring. The same people
write the same things, and it gets extremely predictable. Although there's an
occasional email scuffle, open areas that are topic specific seem to work the
best. (Just my
