Some (most?) Trace Disk duplicators can do the same, they can even modulate
the write current to achieve the coveted "weak bits" effect. Alternatively
you could tap a buffer amplifier into the read/write head loop just before
the clock separator and feed that into flash ADC for capture. The signal is
about 500Khz max so you can oversample at 4x into PC static cache ram and
capture complete track signatures.
