2.9BSD tcp/ip

Who mentioned this a couple of days ago?

I'm getting a 2.9 system up (had to dd the usr.tar into 4
rl02-sized chunks on my freebsd machine, ftp them to my 2.11 machine via
coax (34Kb/sec!), dd the images from there to perfect rl02s (forced to
skip the disklabel area (first 2 blocks)), carry the rl02s upstairs, dd
them to my fuji 160's virgin 2.9bsd /usr fs (being sure to skip the first
2 blocks manually this time), cat them into usr.tar, and untar).

I'm now insane, but the point is that I'd like to have tcp/ip on this 2.9
machine and I don't know where to start. Please advise.

Meanwhile, I think I'm going to go out and run over some bloated road
kills naked on my Vespa so I can prove to myself that there's something
more foul in the world than the procedure I just mentioned.

Thanks in advance.

PS. Does anyone have a nice tape drive & unibus board they'd be willing
to give to an idiot?
