Picking tubular locks

One of the guys I used to work with was a locksmith on the side, and sold
me his old set of picks when he bought the latest greatest a few years ago
(more than I care to think about). I used to set at home with a shoebox
full of old locks practicing away, just like some old granny knitting.
Great therapy, but I never did get very good at it. Modern automatic tools
I hear are pretty brainless to use, but a LOT stickier to be found carrying.
