I touch type pretty fast, unfortunately in both directions. What got me
over the hump of looking at the keyboard was an old Borland typing game, My
Type I think. A little man would race another computer man down the screen
based on your typing speed, stumbling each time your fingers did. Drove me
nuts as it didn't want me to delete back to my mistake, just to keep typing.
Email is what put the final edge on my typing speed. I am even learning to
spell as I grow older thanks to internet usage.
