Having been interested in the "kill-a-broad" mag back in the '70's, I heard
the same stories about Mark Green and his ex taking BYTE away from him, and
he then starting Kilobaud. I always though Kilobaud was a bit better than
Byte, having fewer of the superficial "it's great and wonderful!" reviews
than BYTE.
