Question for the HPUX guys

In all seriousness, is tar supported on that system? On 10.20 and 11.0 I
think SAM will do the trick for you. I don't know if SAM is 8.0. Why not

# tar cd /

and dump it out to tape? Do note that the tape will *not* be bootable. It
will, however, probably send it to the built-in DAT. Find out where under
/dev the 9-track is and mess with tar's options (like, tar cdf /dev/rmt1 /).
But try SAM first.
