Wow! ...and I thought that someone stuffing a Chevy 350 into a Chevy
Vega was an accomplishment!

Now I'm beginning to regret having my 351 Cleveland rebuilt instead of
sticking a 460 into my '72 Mercury Montego, which I'd like to modify
to haul a horse trailer with. The engine and C5 transmission can
handle it; I just need the bigger front disc brakes, extra
transmission & oil cooling, and suspension improvements. ...of
course, this all depends on whether or not the frame's still strong
enough, or can be modified to be strong enough; the rear swing-arm
suspension may be the weak spot. Anyone here know of any automotive
structural engineers for hire?
