        The most significant change being that it
        sprang into existence with V5.0 :-)

        Before that VAX/VMS, DECnet and Clustering
        (and some other SIPs I forget) were enabled
        or enhanced using patches. I *think* that
        these patches were being collected in
        order to be made available on some future
        Freeware CD but I may be wrong about that.
