What about the ed editor? After all, one never knows when one will
have to write something when the termcap database is hosed or if one
just feels like using a printing console to get that good old "using a
typewriter" feeling. Hey, don't laugh, it's a known, hypothetically
99% effective, cure for writer's block! :-)

Very well then, I'll revise what I wrote earlier to: "Shouldn't it
difficult to sell something like that when [some random text editor]
and LaTeX are free?" :-)
