Speaking of A1000 keyboards, does anyone have a destroyed one they
can let parts go from? I am repairing an A1000 keyboard for a friend
(two or three of the keys are shot from playing the same game over and
over) and I have no parts. I was going to pull a switch or two from an
uninteresting place (like "HELP" which never seems to get any use) to
get his letter keys functional.
What I _should_ do is give him an A500 in exchange for his A1000. It'll
play the same games and he won't miss the A1000 (not that I need another
one - I still have my original one from 1986, massively expanded). I
just figure it will be easier to support him if he has an A500.
If he _had_ a PeeCee, I'd get him an Amiga emulator.
