  I must take exception. IMNSHO, the Adaptec 2940 _isn't_ a reasonably
intelligent interface. Buslogic, NCR, Symbios, and LSI all had better
contemporary chips, mostly with better detection and more features.
  And, it's Adaptec, not ADAPTEC.
