Parliamentary procedure (was: What fun ...

Anybody on the list follow the British Parliament?

I assume that when the audience says "Hear, hear!"
thay are reacting to what may be said to be a "called for
comment". Are there things they can say in regards to an
"Un-called for comment" or do they have to wait for the
opposition to speak up and then give the "Hear, hear's"
for him?
