Latch the linkage on the keyboard (I think this is turning it clockwise
viewed from the ledt). It will lock in the lower position.
Then turn the motor by hand to move the lever on the typing unit. It
should then all fit together properly.
If it doesn't check you've got the typing unit correctly seated on the
rubber mounts, and then check the keyboard and transmit clutch areas for
problems.
