There is no such thing as ground!.

If you've generated a 3-phase supply with one of the phased centre-tapped
(as we're describing here) complelete isolated from everything else
(including ground), then you can ground any point of it that you like --
including one of the phases or the centre-tap point. Of course once you've
picked a point to connect to ground, then you can't ground any other point
in the circuit as well.
